Korean BBQ tacos at Seoul on Wheels.
This truck was part of our find-the-best-food-trucks-in-San-Francisco journey and we gotta say, this one gets the prize for best Korean BBQ tacos. The Seoul on Wheels Truck is always on the road as food trucks often are, but you find them by following them on twitter @seoulonwheels or by checking their Facebook page. When we found them, they were sharing an underpass with the Little Green Cyclo, a fantastic Vietnamese street food truck.
Seoul on Wheels’ menu changes on a regular basis (those guys try out new things all the time), but you should check out the Galbi (Boneless Short Ribs), the Korean BBQ tacos with BBQ meat, white corn tortilla, romaine lettuce, sour cream, gochujang chili sauce, sweet daikon. Warm crispy meat pieces, the fresh lettuce and sour cream saving you from the spicy sauce, all come together to a satisfying morsel.
Unless you are really hungry skip the Daniel Burger. It’s huge and juicy, but if your checking out South Korean Food you are probably not looking for the classic american Burger & Fries. Oh, but to contradict the last sentence right away, try the Seoul FRIES with bulgogi. Delicious.
